Program Spotlight – Mentorship
For the next month, we’ll be spotlighting some of the awesome elements of our school programs through student testimony. This post will highlight the mentorship opportunities that come from our High School and Elementary and Middle School pipeline.
Here’s how one of our alumni described her experience coaching her younger teammates. “I think since i have shared NDA with so many good friends and mentors, all the moments are fun so it’s hard to think of just one. But one that does come to mind is when me and my old teammates from the university debate team were judging at a NDA tournament and my sister and her teammates were competing. At the award ceremony my sister and the kids won awards and me and my teammates were cheering so loud at every award they won and everyone was laughing and the kids were embarrassed, it was hilarious.” – Rosendy Rodriguez
