Program Spotlight – Mentorship
For the next month, we’ll be spotlighting some of the awesome elements of our school programs through student testimony. This post will highlight the mentorship opportunities that come from our High School and Elementary and Middle School pipeline.
Here’s how one of our alumni described her experience coaching her younger teammates. “Before the first round, one of the debaters asked me a question about how to run the cap k and answers to some other aff and as I was going on the full explanation, more and more faces started to turn towards me and soon everyone was taking detailed notes and asking questions and it felt really cool because I felt like a coach and teacher.” – Temitope Ogundare
