The Newark Debate Academy works to provide our students with full scholarships to attend National Debate Institutes during the summer. National Debate Institutes are organizations that host debate workshops on college campuses for an extended period during the summer. These institutes provide students with the opportunity to train with collegiate scholars from renowned institutions such as Harvard University, University of California at Berkeley, and Emory University, to name a few. These debate institutes also serve as networking opportunities for students to create ties with college debate programs and potentially earn future scholarships.
